Qualification

For members of the Establishment of this Court; Graduate with 5 years or Matric Higher Secondary with 8 years service on the establishment of this Court; and for members of the Establishment of Courts subordinate to this Court; Graduate with 5 years service n a post carrying pay scale of not less than ₹ 4000 - 6000 or equivalent pre-revised scales.

Syllabus

The syllabus prescribed for the exam for the post of Senior Judicial Assistant is as under:­
Written Paper-I, Marks: 100, Duration: 3 hrs
i. Hours High Court Rules &Orders Volume V.
ii Delhi High Court (Original Side) Rules, 1967
iii Civil Procedure Code: Sections 96 to 115 and Order 5, 22, 32 and 41.
iv Criminal Procedure Code: Sections 28 to 31, 372 to 405.
Written Paper-II Marks: 100 Duration: 3 Hours.
i. Drafting 50 marks
ii. Office Noting 50 marks

Selection Process

Candidates who obtain 40% marks in each of the written papers will be called for interview and only those candidates will be considered qualified for appointment as Senior Judicial Assistant/ Reader Court Officer, who secure 40% marks in aggregate of ~he marks prescribed for written test and interview.

50% of the vacant posts by selection on merit from the categories specified in Column No.3 on the basis of written test and interview.

Eligible candidates may apply online at High Court of Delhi website from July 17, 2017 to July 31, 2017. Candidate desire to appear in the special review departmental te~t, may submit their applications online giving full particulars of their service and educational qualifications as prescribed in the online format.
Candidates working in subordinate courts or who have retired from subordin*te courts, in addition to the online application, must also forward a printout of the application I submitted through online mode duly forwarded by the competent authority, after certifying the particulars filled in. In case, the duly forwarded copy is not received in the Examination Branch by 05.08.2017
