B.Tech. (D.Tech.)/ B.V.Sc./ B.V.Sc. & A.H./ B.F.Sc./ B.Sc.(Agri.)/B.Sc.(Ag. Maco)/ B.Sc. (Hort.)/ B.Sc.(Rural Home Science)/ B.Tech.(Food Engineering)/ B.Sc.(Food Technology)/B.Tech.(Agri. Engg.)/ B.Sc.(Sericulture) or should have studied a 4 year degree programme. Those who have studied a 3 years undergraduate degree programme with science background/ B.B.M./ B.B.A/B.Com, can also apply. Further those possessing a postgraduate degree in any discipline are also eligible.
