Indian Army ARO Shimla Recruitment Rally May 2018 - Online Applications are invited from 04 March 2018 to 17 April 2018 for the ARO Shimla Recruitment Rally at Military Camp location, Nirmand Road, Averipatti near Rampur Bushahr, District – Shimla (HP) from 03 May 2018 to 09 May 2018 for the category of Soldier General Duty (Sol GD), Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical (Sol Clk/SKT), Soldier Tradesmen (Sol Tdn) and Soldier Technical (Sol Tech) for candidates of districts Shimla, Sirmaur, Solan and Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh.

| Soldier General Duty (Sol GD) | Min 10th pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% marks in each subject for candidates. No percentage considered in case candidate has passed higher qualifications. e. 10 + 2 and above (vocational streams not acceptable). |
| Soldier Clerk/Store Keeping Technical | (i) Should have secured 50% marks in each subject and 60 % marks in aggregate in class XII. (ii) Should have studied English and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping in Class XII or X and should have secured min 50% marks in each of these subjects, whether studied in Class XII or X. |
| Soldier Technical | Sol Tech (Avn & Amn). 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject or 03 yrs diploma in Engg (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automobiles/ Cmptr science Mechanical Engg and Electronic and Instrumental Engg) from recognized Polytechnic Instt/ITI. |

Steps To Apply Online:
- Before applying to Online Applicants have valid email & Scanned copies of photo, signature.
- Candidates log on to http://www.joinindianarmy.nic.in/.
- Go to JCOs/OR Apply/Login
- Click on “Click here for New Registration”, if you are a new user.
- Complete the Registration & Click on “Submit”.
- After Registration, Log in with Registered Number & Password.
- Fill the all details in the application & upload Photo, Signature.
- Take a print out of Online application for future use.
- Login 10-15 Days Prior to 1st Day of the Rally to Download & Print Admit Card.
Documents Required:
- School Leaving Certificate, Marks Sheets and board certificates of all exams passed (10th /12th /Graduation), issued by State Board of Education (J&K)/any other Board recognized by competent authorities for Central Government jobs.
- PRC / Nativity Certificate from the authorized signatory.
- Character Certificate from School as well as a Police station and Sarpanch/Numberdar issued within six months.
- Caste Certificate duly signed by Tehsildar.
- Unmarried certificate from Sarpanch / Numberdar.
- NCC ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificate and RD Parade certificate (if held), O+level Computer Certificate from DOEACC if held.
- Individual must bring their AADHAR Card, PAN Card or Other Card for Identity verification at recruitment rally.
- Hill Tribe Certificate duly signed by Tehsildar.
- Self Affidavit:- A comprehensive format for self-declaration affidavit has been formulated. A format is attached as per Appendix.
- Participation in sports at International/National/State/District level with 1 st and 2 nd position in the discipline within last two years.
- Photographs Required. 15 Copies of latest Colored photographs TAKEN IN LAST 01 MONTH ONLY. Computerized.
