- Qualification:
  1. A candidate must hold a Master’s Degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline.
  2. The candidates having Master’s degree from a foreign University must attach a certificate.
- Age limit:
  For General/ Unreserved Categories 21 - 32 years (as on 01.01.2018)
  Relaxation ( in Upper age limit ) 05 years for SC/ST candidates
  03 years for OBC candidates
NET (I)-2018
- Qualification:
  1. A candidate must possess a Master’s degree or equivalent in the concerned Discipline and specialization completed on or before 24.06.2018 from any Indian University incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institution.
  2. He/she must have qualification from a foreign University recognized as equivalent by the Government of India (GoI).
  Nationality: A candidate must be either:-
  (i) a citizen of India, or
  (ii) a citizen of Nepal, or
  (iii) a citizen of Bhutan, or
  (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- Age limit:
  21 years as on 01.01.2018. There is no upper age limit for the National Eligibility Test.
