Indian Coast Guard has announced the Result on 27 Jul 2017 for List of Candidates Selected For Final Selection Board (FSB) - Asst. Commandant - 01/2018 Batch which was conducted from 20 Aug 2017 to 27 Aug 2017.
All candidates are to report by 1500 hrs. on 20 Aug 2017 & 27 Aug 2017 at the following address as mentioned below,

Final Selection Board (FSB) - Selection Process:
The final selection will consist of Psychological Test, Group Task and Interview (Personality Test). Candidates are to bring their own writing material. Candidates recommended by Final Selection Board will be required to undergo the medical examination. Candidates unable to complete their final medical (including appeal and review cases) by 27 Oct 2017 falling which the name of candidates will not be considered in the final merit list.

DOCUMENTS. Candidates are required to bring following documents in original and one attested copy of all documents, failing which the candidates will not be permitted to attend the examination:-
(a) All educational certificates including 10th class pass certificate/mark sheet in original mandatory along with a photo copy duly attested, in support of date of birth. Candidates who have completed their degree/ graduation in 2016 and earlier years must be in possession of their original/ convocation degree certificate issued by concerned universities or “Non Issuance of Degree Certificate” issued /signed from the concerned University only (format available in www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in). In case the same is not issued by the concerned university for any reasons, then a letter/ correspondence pertaining to this effect from the university, needs to be produced during FSB.
(b) SC and ST category candidates are required to produce category certificates as per state government format. OBC category candidates are required to produce category certificate as per Govt of India format. The certificate formats are available in CG website www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in. If any reserved category candidate, fails to produce appropriate caste certificates then he will be rejected and will not be permitted to appear in the tests.
(c) NCC and Sports (National) Certificates etc.
(d) 08 recent coloured passport size photographs as affixed in online application form.
(e) CHARACTER CERTIFICATE. Issue date of certificate should not be more than six months from the date of reporting for FSB and issued by any one of District Police/ Revenue Official/ Headmaster/ Principal of Recognised School/ College/ BDO/ Panchayat Inspector/ Village Sarpanch/ Pradhan/ Armed Forces Commissioned Officer {active list} and any Gazetted Officer.
